Coming back to the request of the student, Thomas has decided to give a short lecture both verbally and in writing to make him or other students understand the illegal smuggling scenario.
From the last 4-5 years, there has been a continuous plundering of valuable antiquities from Syrian and Iraq to Europe.
Thomas has also read the work of Michael Danti, a famous archeologist, who explains how these antiquities enter the gray market and why we are failing to control it.
Thomas J Salzano also referred to the various reports that stats that on average there are about 20 art galleries in Europe that smuggled artifacts.
Considering the depth of the topic, Thomas has started doing more research on it and will come out with complete blog post very soon. Salzano also asked that student to do more research in it.
